THE STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE OF SAUMYA

Step 1

First of all, the face and neck are cleansed with cotton dipped in raw milk or warm medicated water for the soft cleaning of the face/neck skin.

Step 2

Commonly, tomato paste/watermelon/papaya paste is applied to the face. Tomato/watermelon/papaya works like a natural bleach and brings the glow to the skin. Or if your skin requires a specially prepared face pack – a thin layer of powdered herbs mixed with fresh juices is applied and after it dries it is removed from your face/neck area.

Step 3

After cleaning the face with cotton, Kumkumadi oil is applied and massaged on the face in an upward motion for few minutes. This oil is specially prepared with the traditional recipes of Ayurved. Message for 20 minutes is done gently to let the benefits of the oil be absorbed by your skin.

Step 4

Rose water dipped cotton / Cucumber slices are placed on the eyes while giving soft steam to the face.

Step 5

Again, the face is cleaned with damp cotton and freshly cut pulp of aloe vera is massaged onto the skin. (Optional)

Step 6

The face is cleaned with damp cotton and a special face pack is used applying a very thick layer on the skin areas avoiding eyes and lips. This will exfoliate away dead skin cells, whiteheads, and blackheads and give the skin a radiant look.

Step 7

After exfoliation, a dry message will be carried out at the areas of Back, Hands etc for the feeling of complete relaxation.
